TH UK Ltd respects the privacy of all users of www.thuk.co.uk (“Site”) and of the services available from the Site. We have created this statement to demonstrate our commitment to our customers’ privacy and to explain our information-gathering and dissemination practices.

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION / REGISTRATION

When you register as a user/subscriber, TH UK’s registration form requires you to provide contact information (such as your name, email address and phone number), and demographic information (such as your county). We use this information to (1) create a TH UK account for you; (2) send you information about TH UK (you may unsubscribe from receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below); and, (3) contact you about service updates when they occur or to notify you of changes. TH UK uses unique identifiers to verify your identity in case you forget your password and to process billing transactions. TH UK may disclose personally identifiable information about you, including unique identifiers, in order to process billing or financial related matters.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND OUR COMMITMENT

TH UK will not wilfully or knowingly sell, trade, rent, disclose or make available: (1) personally identifiable information about you, your employees, co-workers, or clients; or, (2) information about any of your business relationships with your customers, clients, vendors, partners or anyone else to any third party without first receiving your permission except as permitted by law or when expressly stated herein.

SHARING

Though TH UK makes every effort to preserve user privacy, TH UK may need to disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preparation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (1) comply with legal process; (2) enforce this statement; (3) respond to claims of third parties; or (4) protect the rights, property or safety of TH UK, TH UK users and the public. TH UK may do any or all of this without notice to you. In addition, TH UK reserves the right to delete, move or edit any information and/or require you to delete, move or edit any information that violates our policies.

SERVICE PARTNERS

TH UK has selected some other companies to provide content or services that may enhance your experience. In order to make the experience seamless to you, TH UK passes along some information about you to TH UK service partners so that the service partner can provide you with information and services of interest to you. TH UK passes only information that is required for the service partner to provide the requested information or service.

UNSUBSCRIBE

TH UK’s site and services provide you the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving communications from us. You may use one of the following options to unsubscribe. To be removed from the mailing list on the Site, you may unsubscribe using the instructions that were sent to you when you first subscribed. Select the unsubscribe option that is included on every email communication you receive from TH UK. If you need further assistance, send an email to [email protected] explaining that you have tried to unsubscribe without success. To be removed from any other mailing list, e.g. a survey mailing list, send an email message to [email protected].

The Site and services contain links to other web sites. This privacy statement only covers TH UK’s site; it does not apply to any other web sites, including those web sites that TH UK may provide links to. TH UK is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other web sites or our service partners. Please check the privacy statement of a web site prior to using it. In addition, TH UK uses demographic and profile data, which may either be obtained from you as a portion of the Registration Information or collected by TH UK at the Site or through TH UK services, to tailor your experience at the Site, show you content we think will interest you, and display the content according to your preferences. This demographic and profile data is shared with third parties but only on an aggregate basis. The “Forward to a Friend” feature of the Service is a vehicle for you to inform someone about TH UK. If you enter someone’s email address and click the Forward to a Friend button, an email is sent to the addressee inviting him or her to visit TH UK.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION THROUGH USE OF MAILING LISTS

TH UK operates and maintains mailing lists. To subscribe to TH UK’s mailing list, you must provide your name and a valid email address. TH UK reserves the right to remove any addresses including non-functional, invalid or fraudulent email addresses at our discretion.

NON-TH UK EMAIL AND MAILING LISTS

TH UK is not responsible for mailing lists used by TH UK customers or service partners. Individuals receiving an email from a company using the TH UK product should contact that company directly with any questions or comments. Please report any and all non-compliance with TH UK’s acceptable use policy to [email protected].

SECURITY

The Site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. TH UK uses customary and commercially reasonable security measures such as firewalls and encrypted connections to protect the services and TH UK users’ information and registration information. Additionally, all of TH UK users require a password in order to access the services. The password is chosen by the user. If, as a user, you forget your password, you need to contact your company’s domain administrator in order to get a new password. If a domain administrator has forgotten the password then they should contact their TH UK account representative in order to have a new one set for their account. We do not monitor, nor have obligation to monitor, any transmission, use or storage of information.

CORRECTIONS/UPDATES

To change or correct your contact information, you may use one of the following options. (1) To change or modify information provided to our mailing list, you may use the link that is included on every email communication you receive from TH UK. If you need further assistance, email [email protected] explaining that you have tried to change your information without success. (2) To change or modify your user information, you may log in to the service as a registered user and change your user record. (3) If you have questions or problems, you may contact TH UK for assistance by sending an email to [email protected]

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

If TH UK is going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection TH UK will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not TH UK uses your information in this different manner. However, if you have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted. Nor will your personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if TH UK makes any material changes in TH UK privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, TH UK will post a prominent notice on the Site notifying users of the change. In some cases where TH UK posts the notice TH UK will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in TH UK’s privacy practices.

COOKIES

The Site and various portions of the services use cookies to (1) save your password so you do not have to re-enter it each time you log in; (2) deliver content specific to your interests; and (3) keep track of your input/output while you are using our services or visiting our site. If you set your browser to reject cookies, you will not be able to access or use the services.

LOG FILES / IP ADDRESSES

Like most standard web site servers, TH UK uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
